7-1 GENERAL. This chapter provides a detailed illustrated parts breakdown (IPB) for the FSU. This IPB identifies and illustrates parts and attaching hardware in sufficient detail to enable procuring, storing, and issuing of all parts necessary to support servicing and repair of the FSU.

7-2 LIST OF MAJOR UNITS. The FSU is a single, complete, functional unit.

7-3 PARTS LIST. Figures 7-1 through 7-6 illustrate and list parts for the FSU. The parts list follows the illustration and is indexed to callouts. Column 1 provides a figure and index number/sheet number for the illustration showing the location and configuration of each part. Column 2 lists the part number to be ordered. Most parts are identified by manufacturer part number. Parts available through military sources are listed by part number. Column 3 lists the Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code for military specification or manufacturer part number listed in the Part Number column. Column 4 provides a brief description of each part. Each part is indented in the Description column to reflect the relationship to the next higher assembly. If a military specification number is used in the Part Number column, the manufacturer part number and CAGE code may appear in parenthesis after the item description. Column 5 specifies the total number of each part per package or higher indentured item. This number is not necessarily the total number per FSU. Column 6 provides the 7-digit Joint Military Services Uniform Source, Maintenance, and Recoverability (SMR) code assigned by the Government and furnished by the acquiring activity. Definitions of these SMR codes are available in TO 00-25-195. Other part numbers for the FSU can be found in TO 37A13-6-1.
